Collection NumberMSS 0257DescriptionThe Lithograph Collection contains a large variety of images, both colored and black and white, of people, animals, structures, and landscapes from all parts of Colorado ranging from the mid- nineteenth to the early part of the twentieth century. Interestingly, it is richly populated with engravings from both the English and German editions of “Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper.” Additionally, this collection contains numerous historic lithographic illustrations from “Harpers Weekly” and some local newspapers within Colorado.
